Tango - Polish avant-garde animated film, shot in 1980 in Studio Small Form Film Se-ma-for by Zbigniew Rybczynski. Animation is devoid of plot, and is based on a simple concept: introduction to the enclosed space of as many people as performing repetitive tasks. The film combines the mathematical precision of the implementation of artistic vision. Tango was a great success of Polish animation. Won first Oscar for a Polish film.

Tango Zbigniew Rybczynski realized nearly a year due to the complicated process of creation. Applied the technique of photo shoot, consisting of separate shooting any form, then arranging the pictures finished animation sequences. Repeatedly applied to each exposures require high precision. Rybczynski worked on the film practically moved to study in the Se-ma-forze, turning the room shooting the "living room". This is exactly the working title was called Tango later.

Rybczynski production can be read in different ways:

presentation as "memory space", where you can play all happening here once the event,

as a picture of isolation of people in the world today, each of the characters, wrapped up their activities, ignoring all other,

as a criticism of stagnation and repetition of human life, the banality of human rights carried out by mindlessly act.
